There Are Too Many T.V. Programs
NFL Films productions were invented solely to keep me from sleeping as
much as I should. While they aren't great, or compelling, or cerebral,
or anything else, they are just engrossing enough to make me burn an
hour watching a thinly-sketched biography of a coach from the '70s I've
never heard of, who ran a team of which I'm not a fan. Perhaps this
condition is similar to OCD, where an afflicted person performs a
meaningless task for hours on end, to no result. Steve Sabol owes me
some beer.
